This one of one piece was created using an old 98-99 Man United jersey. I deconstructed the panels which weren’t stained or torn, and took some measurements of a nice lamp shade. I wasn’t quite sure how this one was going to go, as I’d never done a shade in this style. I mapped out the panels I wanted to incorporate and where they’d fit best. After hand sewing these all together (took forever), i made some final adjustments and stretched it over the base shade layer. With about a million pins to hold it in place, i then added a band on the top and bottom to stitch it all in place. Took a lot more patience and effort than I anticipated, but very happy with the result. Perfectly imperfect tribute to a legend. Perfect for both the football fan and home decor enthusiast. (Light bulb not included)
